Abstract
This dataset contains reflectance measurements over the visible and near-infrared from Wright and Taylor Valleys, collected over austral summer 2024-2025. The spectra were collected in order to measure surface properties related to the water absorption spectral feature near 1.4 µm, but contain continuous spectral data from ~960 to 1700 nm at ~6 nm spectral resolution. Spectra were collected over wetted and dry soils in the MDV in order to measure soil moisture, with drone flights occurring in December 2024 and January 2025, from an altitude of ~5 m above ground level.
