Abstract
This data set contains annual updates of the Ice Drilling Program (IDP) Long Range Science Plan 2020-2030 and also the updates of the plan that were created in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The format of each is pdf report. These were developed by the NSF Ice Drilling Program in collaboration with its IDP Science Advisory Board and the broader community. Each plan describes the 10-year science goals for ice drilling, along with a description of the drilling technology needed to achieve the goals.
