Abstract
This study was conducted on King George Island (KGI), the largest island of the South Shetland archipelago, characterized by maritime Antarctic conditions and extensive coastal ice-free areas. In 2016, five moss species (Andreaea gainii, Chorisodontium aciphyllum, Polytrichastrum alpinum, Sanionia georgiouncinata, and Syntrichia saxicola) were sampled to evaluate interspecific variation in thermal traits.
