Abstract
We jointly invert high resolution regional seismological shear wave data, satellite gravity information, and topography to determine the 3D thermochemical structure of the mantle. The inversion was carried out using a Markov-chain Bayesian Monte Carlo methodology, providing quantitative estimates uncertainties. The new 3D thermal structure gives us the temperature variation from surface down to 380km as well as the lithosphere asthenosphere boundary (1250C).
