Abstract
Spongiobranchaea australis is a gymnosome pteropod that is abundant in the Southern Ocean. Videos of specimens of S. Australis collected near Palmer Station in April 2014, were used to develop computational fluid dynamics models and simulations of swimming hydrodynamics conducted. The deposited movie shows the computed vortex structures for a swimming S. Australis.
