We have observations from three ships near Antarctica, the R/V Polar Duke the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer and the R/V Laurence M. Gould. Data from 23 August 1993 are available via ftp and the files are updated with the most recent observations every 7-10 days as we receive the information. The AMRC has been archiving general ship and buoy observational data for the Antarctic and surrounding regions since 2 December 1998.
