Abstract
The dataset consists of an Excel file that contains data from sediment cores collected during Expedition 379 of the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP). All core samples were collected from site U1532 (68˚ 36.6952’S, 107˚ 31.4721’W) located near the Amundsen Sea, Antarctica. The Excel file includes data on the absolute diatom abundance of the different core samples and the diatom assemblage percentages present at various depths in the sediment. The file also includes biogenic silica data and visual inspection data for ice-rafted detritus (IRD) present in the core samples.
