Abstract
This MATLAB dataset includes brightness temperatures measured by AMSR2 and SSMIS from 01/01/2020 to 06/30/2021 over the Concordia and Vostok Stations as well as the entire Antarctic Ice Sheet. Vertically and horizontally polarized GPM SSMIS/AMSR2 common intercalibrated brightness temperatures at 10.65 GHz, 18.7 GHz, 19.35 GHz, 23.8 GHz, 36.5 GHz, 37 GHz, 89 GHz, and 91.655 GHz averaged over 0.25-degree x 0.25-degree grid cells are stored. In addition, AMSR2 measurements at 6.9 GHz and 7.3 GHz in both polarizations are included. Please read the text file “satData_readMe.txt” for more details.
