Abstract
This data set contains reflectance spectra (350 - 2500 nm) of a range of rocks and sediments from the Central Transantarctic Mountains. Data were acquired using an Analytical Spectral Devices (ASD) FieldSpec4 high-resolution spectrometer under illumination with a high-output halogen bulb, with illumination and observation angles fixed at 0 and 30 degrees off-nadir, respectively. Data were acquired for the purposes of validation and 'ground truthing' of orbital multispectral data.
